Road to Greenbuild: Chicago’s Sustainable Business Leaders
Join the Illinois Green Alliance on the Road to Greenbuild for a panel discussion highlighting the Honorary Host Committee’scorporate sustainability leadership based in Chicago!
Chicago is a world leader in environmental sustainability, the home to many companies, large and small, that prioritize sustainability leadership as a business priority. This Road to Greenbuild event features panelists from the Greenbuild host committee members who represent these businesses leading the way in Chicago and have significant ability to influence the marketplace.
The dialogue will focus on what these leaders see as their greatest environmental impact challenges and opportunities – from their own, direct impacts to those of suppliers, franchisees, customers, and other stakeholders. We will discuss how they see the built environment as facilitating impact reductions and/or creating greater challenges to reducing those impacts. Finally, we will explore what key frameworks the panelists use in thinking about their environmental impacts and opportunities (e.g. UN Sustainable Development Goals, UN Global Compact, Science Based Targets, and others).
