Florida Business Interiors was born in a temporary office (“The Barn”) in Plant City with a view of strawberry fields – a far cry from our now well-known Ybor City location!  The collective vision of this small group of professionals was to create a furniture dealership unlike any other in Florida -one that did more than just sell furniture.  We wanted to create a place where clients could come to explore the business case for space and understand the impact of it on their bottom line.

After relocating to Ybor City in late 2007, and our acquisition by BOS in 2020, this founding vision remains part of our DNA.  Almost 2 decades later, we are known throughout the industry to be uniquely qualified to engage with clients on the business aspects of space.  By using our insights regarding workstyles, culture and change management we have helped some of the largest companies in West Central Florida achieve their goal of building inspiring, engaging space that maximizes their return on investment and lowers their long-term cost of ownership.

We are honored to have been a finalist for the annual Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Best Places to Work award 11 years in a row. Winners are determined by employee feedback, and the survey focuses on components of well-being, such as appreciation, community, and a sense of meaning at work.

BOS is proud to be the first and only Employee-Owned furniture dealership on the West Coast of Florida. We join BOS Orlando and a proud tradition of over 70 years of service as a Haworth dealer. BOS has been recognized as a Haworth Best in Class dealership multiple times and was Haworth’s first dealer partner. We are now part of a large organization of professionals in multiple states who are all committed to creating inspiring workspaces.
