As the leader for innovation, Kelly is responsible for developing and accelerating Gilbane’s innovation strategy, driving organizational change that advances Gilbane’s culture of innovation, and ensuring the company’s technology and digital transformation support business goals. Kelly brings an extensive background in strategic innovation and client engagement expertise and is reflective of Gilbane’s expanding investment in innovation.

In her role, Kelly focuses on aligning Gilbane’s innovation and digital strategy with the enterprise business strategy, simplifying business practices to increase productivity and efficiency, and leveraging our data as a strategic asset to deliver long-term value. This includes evaluating and piloting opportunities with emerging technology including generative AI as well as organic and non-technology ideas that come from the business and our partners.

She is entrusted with developing a targeted and effective external ecosystem approach that will include academia, venture capital, trades, architecture and design communities, innovation and industry organizations to elevate Gilbane’s brand, provide co-Innovation opportunities, as well as leverage unique expertise from many different areas to accelerate our culture of innovation.

During her three decades in the construction and real estate industry, Kelly has excelled in business development, client engagement, strategy, transformation, and innovation across large privately and publicly held firms. Before joining Gilbane, Kelly was Head of Business Development & Strategy which led the role of standing up an Innovation platform as Head of Innovation for the Americas region for an international property development company.  She led innovation teams overseeing a portfolio of ideas, including development from ground up concepts and ideas to introducing them to the market.

Kelly is a graduate of Bowling Green University, she earned a degree in Bachelor of Science in Education, with a focus on Marketing Communications. Kelly has held board and chairman positions in various industry organizations such as ACE Mentoring, CoreNet Global and currently serves on the Urban Land Institute National Mixed-Use (Purple Flight) Product Council.
