Orlando Health – Horizon West Hospital
Orlando Health – Horizon West Hospital
In partnership with Orlando Health, HuntonBrady Architects and TJNG Partners, the BOS Orlando team recently completed the furnishings for the first new building in Orlando Health’s portfolio in over fifteen years. One of the project goals was to provide hope and healing for all who enter and work in the hospital.
“This (new) hospital not only allows us to provide an even higher level of care to the residents who call this community home,” said Brian Wetzel, chief operating officer, Orlando Health – Horizon West Hospital, “but we’ve built the medical campus in such a way that as Horizon West grows, our facilities can also grow to meet the inevitable growth in demand for healthcare services.”
Orlando Health’s Horizon West facility is a six-story, 228,000 sq. ft. space that initially opened with 30 acute care patient beds, four surgery suites, a cath lab and imaging services including MRI, X-Ray and CT, and was constructed with the capacity to grow to meet future demands. With a bright, modern color scheme, an abundance of daylight and state of the art equipment, Orlando Health – Horizon West Hospital has already exceeded expectations in the local community.
