My family is my main inspiration; they give me the energy and enthusiasm to throw myself into my work so that I can go home fulfilled each day. My work family also inspires me to put my all into each project.
Collaborating closely with Client’s to develop a project that meets their unique needs and expectations.
During my career I have had an opportunity to work on both Corporate and Healthcare projects, but my primary focus has been Criminal Justice. Currently I am finalizing the furniture procurement package for the Columbus Consolidated Courthouse in Georgia which will be complete this summer.

For over 25 years, Barbara has thoughtfully designed the interiors of court houses on the federal, state, county, and city levels. Her expertise extends to programming and planning of justice facilities including court rooms, judges chambers, administrative workplace, and all public facing spaces. Her project experience includes developing program standards, space planning, documentation, furniture specification and procurement. Barbara works closely with SLAM’s justice clients and team members to achieve design solutions that align with project goals and budgets.”

The screen is a unique option as a room divider. The screen provides visual and acoustic privacy plus the nominal (5) eight wide rotating horizontal blinds can rotate to open up the space.
