Adriana Rojas is Principal and Director of Interiors of HOK’s Florida Practice and the Regional Workplace Leader for HOK Tampa. She has more than 28 years of multidisciplinary and multinational experience, 25 of these have been designing projects in Florida. Adriana has a robust understanding and appreciation of the interior architecture industry. With a passion for research applied design and creative interiors, her main focus is to understand her Client’s goals and focus on the human experience within a space. With diverse experience across multiple markets, Adriana achieves timeless design providing long lasting value for her Clients. Adriana has been a guest speaker in industry podcasts and has also been invited to National Conferences as a presenter on Neurodiversity and DEI topics.
Scott Fontechia is a USF alumnus, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Master of Science degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. Currently, Scott works as an Employment Specialist at The Learning Academy at USF and provides a variety of employment-related services to adults on the autism spectrum. Scott also trains businesses and professionals on autism and other diversity topics, is an instructor for a Robotic Process Automation certification program, a published researcher, and an invited speaker and presenter on autism-related topics.
Michael Furnari began his career in the financial industry, with a degree in Marketing from George Mason University. He brings this background and a research-based perspective to his presentations backed by sound business practices. As a practicing Workplace Strategist, he has worked on some of the first and largest LEED certified facilities ever built in the southeast. His motivation is to become an expert in workplace strategies that increase worker engagement while reducing operating expenses. Michael, a LEED and WELL accredited professional, is active in design and green building, teaching continuing education classes on collaboration, change management, WELL & LEED Building and organizational culture. He is currently the EVP of Sales for BOS and directs the Tampa team
Sabrina Griffith Jackson is a higher education professional currently serving as the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Ultimate Medical Academy; a nonprofit allied healthcare education institution. In her primary role, Sabrina helps to lead the organization’s strategic efforts supporting the needs of its diverse student, team member and community populations. Sabrina is a Society of Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and a Diversity FIRST™ Certified Diversity Professional (CDP). With more than fifteen years as a DE&I practitioner, Sabrina facilitates training and educational sessions on topics including gender, sexuality, LGBTQ+ allyship, bias, race, colorism, and classism to name a few. As an Advisory Board member for the Florida Diversity Council Tampa Bay, she serves as the chair of the chapter. In addition, Sabrina is a member of the board of directors of two area nonprofit organizations; Gulf Coast Jewish Family and Community Services and Zoe’s Story.
