Start sprouting the spirit of friendly competition, as the business victor of our poinsettia competition will not only secure bragging rights to their expectational green thumb abilities but also a seasonal feast of free drinks and appetizers for the entire team! That’s right – a celebration on us, where you and your colleagues can revel in the joy of success and toast to the flourishing beauty you’ve nurtured.

The rules are simple, keep your plant alive by the end of Q1. The official final appraisal date will be released after further inspection of poinsettia progress, where Ogge and Sam will stop by to check on your poinsettia at some point shortly after the New Year.

Judging Criteria is as follows: 

1. Pigmentation of the leaves- are your poinsettia leaves still bright and cheery with holiday spirit?
2. Blossom progression- have the leaves or plant grown larger, or dwindled in size due to lack of care?
3. Heath and wellness- overall health of the plant (does it look alive or dead?)
4. Development of root system
5. PH level of the soil- we can test pH and will bring our handy dandy tester
6. Overall appearance and presentation- overall aesthetic (does it look the best of all the poinsettias?)

So, water your plant with a dash of competitive zeal, tend to it with care, and let the friendly rivalry blossom!
