Celebrating Top Talent in Chicago’s Architectural and Design Community
Do you have a standout team member? BOS and Haworth want to help you recognize that exceptional individual who has earned your respect, appreciation, and praise.
Profiles in Design is a complimentary, invitation-only recognition program where leaders from Chicago’s AD community nominate high-performing members of their firm to be celebrated. Presented by BOS and Haworth, the 2026 edition will showcase some of the city’s top Architectural and Design firms.
As a firm principal or leader, you can nominate a team member to be honored. Both the nominator and honoree are invited to a celebratory evening at downtown’s Haworth Showroom in the Merchandise Mart, featuring hors d’oeuvres, libations, and opportunities for photos and video interviews with the honorees.

This media will be used to highlight these rising stars across digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email. Additionally, honorees will be featured in a professionally printed coffee table book, with each honoree and firm receiving a copy.

Is there a cost?
No, participation in this event is completely free and includes an evening of recognition with food and drink, certificates for honorees, media shoot and two printed hardcover books (one for the honoree and one for the firm).
How are honorees selected?
Honorees are selected by principals/leaders at each firm. One honoree per firm will be recognized each year as part of this program.
Who should I select to be showcased?
The honoree must be employed by your firm. We suggest using this opportunity to recognize a rising star on your team. Additional selection criteria is completely up to each leader/principal.
What happens next?
After leaders use the form on this page to select an honoree, BOS will contact them to congratulate and start to collect profile information. Principals and honorees will also be invited to a Q1 2026 night of recognition and media shoot at Haworth Chicago.
