Overview

COVID-19 has fundamentally changed the way we engage with work and the workplace. Organizations must now consciously design for flexibility and adaptability in their cultures, technologies, and physical spaces. In this session, Luc and Julian explore the implementation of organizational agility through activity-based thinking– examining individual and organizational life as a collection of activities to be performed.

Speakers

Luc Kamperman is Managing Partner at Veldhoen + Company, where he oversees consulting and operations for North America. He joined the company 18 years ago after graduating with a master’s degree in management. Since then, he has led large activity-based working transformations for companies in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and North America. He is most well-known for his work with Macquarie Bank’s Sydney headquarters and has been integral in spreading activity-based thinking around the globe

Julian Chender is a consultant at Veldhoen + Company specializing in new ways of working. He brings a background in psychology and organizational development to support organizations as they transform to meet the future of work across culture, technology, and physical space. After receiving a master’s degree in OD from American University, Julian spent four years developing and training scientific and administrative leaders at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease. In addition to his consultant work, Julian oversees business development for Veldhoen + Company in North America.
