What inspires me in my daily work is the belief that through thoughtful and intentional design, we have the power to positively transform lives and create a more equitable, sustainable, and vibrant world for everyone.

Keys to a Successful Project:

Above all, communication is the key ingredient. Whether that’s through client/consultant coordination, presentations, or working drawings, clear communication from the beginning will result in a successful project.

Interests Outside of Work:

More than anything, I love my time with our little family – my wife, Sam, and I have an 18-month-old baby, Margot, and she is the joy (and majority) of our lives! Outside of family time my other joys outside of work playing in local soccer leagues and following the sport closely as a spectator. I am constantly exploring music, as well. Whether I’m looking into newly released music, discovering music from the past that I’ve never heard, or going back to my tried-and-trues.

What Is Special About It:

I love the organic, yet structured feel the piece has to it. To me it feels like a boulder shaped over time by rushing water. The legs complete the package for me, making the sofa feel like it’s floating.
