ULI Tampa Bay Art in Place Kickoff

Art in Place is a global cohort of ULI National and District Councils working to connect artists, developers, and community voices to drive more inclusive and participatory real estate outcomes. ULI Tampa Bay was selected through a highly competitive process to participate in this next step in ULI’s ongoing commitment to Creative Placemaking. Join us for ULI Tampa Bay’s Art in Place Kickoff event on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM with the museum being open from 5:00 PM –  8:00 PM!

This event will include a facilitated discussion with leaders in Real Estate Development and the Arts highlighting successful collaborations:

• Intention of Art in Place from Taylor Ralph, ULI Tampa Bay
• Arts and Development in Tampa Overview from Michele Smith, Tampa Arts Alliance
• ‘The Art and Soul of Creating Community’ from Leroy Moore, Tampa Housing Authority and ULI Tampa Bay Governance Chair and Ya La’Ford, Artist
• ‘Art Spaces Transform Places, Ybor City’ from Darryl Shaw, Casa Ybor and Tracy Midulla, Tempus Projects
• ‘Form, Function and People First’ from Karen Kress, Tampa Downtown Partnership and Jay Giroux, Artist

Self-parking is available on a first come first serve basis and is available in the Poe Parking Garage located off of N. Ashley Street. Valet is available through 717 Parking.
