Join us for the sequel to this past June’s program on the impact COVID-19 has had on Tampa and Tampa Bay’s hospitality industry. The industry was uniquely positioned in 2020 with a record February, a NCAA College Basketball Round 1 and 2 four (4) day weekend, two premiere domestic & international event platforms – Wrestlemania and Super Bowl – a dynamic summer season and adding about 1,500 new room inventory in Hillsborough County alone. Then COVID-19 appeared. How did the industry survive the balance of 2020 – with a rebound or a mission impossible – and what does the future look like?
